Why freshers in Punjab look beyond the NCS portal
NCS covers the whole country and offers many services, which also makes it a lot to take in on a phone. A fresher who just wants to see private jobs near their Punjab town, in Punjabi, and know which ones they qualify for, may want something simpler alongside it.
- A large portal with many services and steps
- No Punjabi language option on the portal
- No resume builder
- No match score for each job
What LastKoin does differently
LastKoin focuses on one thing: private jobs in Punjab for freshers and early-career job seekers. Every job comes from an approved employer and shows a match score with its reasons, and tells you before you apply if a required skill or qualification is missing. Your profile becomes a resume you can download or share on WhatsApp.
LastKoin does not list government jobs.
Where NCS is still the better choice
NCS is completely free, government-run, and backed by job fairs and career centres where you can get help in person. If you want counselling face to face or to attend a rozgar mela, NCS is the place.
Can you use both?
Yes, and it makes sense to. Register on NCS for job fairs and counselling, and use LastKoin for local private jobs in Punjab, a resume and a match score for every job.

How we score
We are LastKoin, so we are not neutral — read the scores with that in mind. To keep them useful, every criterion is judged from one person's point of view: a fresher or early-career job seeker in Punjab looking for a private job. A portal that is excellent for a senior manager in Bengaluru can score lower here, and that is not a judgement of its overall quality.
Scores come from each portal's public website and app as we found them on the review date. Features and prices change; if something here is out of date, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.
