Human Resources Jobs
Hiring, onboarding, payroll and looking after people at work.
Types of jobs
The main kinds of work in Human Resources:
HR Executive
Runs the people side of a company — hiring, onboarding, payroll inputs, policy and employee grievances — keeping the workforce engaged and records compliant.
Pay: Entry ₹12–22k/mo · Experienced ₹60k+/mo
Recruiter
Finds and hires the right talent — sourcing candidates, screening resumes, coordinating interviews and closing offers to fill open roles quickly.
Pay: Entry ₹12–20k/mo + incentives · Experienced ₹55k+/mo
HR Assistant / HR Trainee
HR assistants are the entry point into HR: maintaining employee files and HRMS data, tracking attendance and leave, preparing joining kits and letters, scheduling interviews and helping with engagement activities. Many MBA-HR and BBA freshers start here.
Pay: Entry ₹10–18k/mo · Experienced ₹40k+/mo
Payroll Executive
Payroll executives calculate salaries from attendance and leave, apply deductions like PF, ESI, TDS and advances, generate payslips, and file statutory returns on time. Accuracy and confidentiality are everything. Commerce graduates who know Excel and Tally fit well.
Pay: Entry ₹14–24k/mo · Experienced ₹60k+/mo
HR Generalist
HR generalists own day-to-day HR for a company or unit: recruitment, joining and exit formalities, HR policies, attendance and payroll inputs, performance cycles, grievances and engagement. Usually 1–3 years of HR experience.
Pay: Entry ₹20–32k/mo · Experienced ₹80k+/mo
Training & Development Coordinator
Training coordinators plan and run employee learning: finding training needs, scheduling sessions, coordinating trainers and venues or online tools, tracking attendance and feedback, and keeping training records. A path into L&D and corporate training.
Pay: Entry ₹14–24k/mo · Experienced ₹55k+/mo
