Foundit
5.9/10
Foundit is the new name of Monster India, one of the oldest job portals in the country. It focuses on white-collar work — IT, sales, finance, operations — and recruiters search its database of candidate profiles.
For a fresher in a Punjab town, that focus is the problem. Most listings are in metro cities, many ask for experience, and the site is in English. LastKoin starts from your education, skills and city, and shows local jobs you actually qualify for.

Why freshers in Punjab look for a Foundit alternative
Foundit was built for people who already have a few years of office experience. A fresher from Bathinda or Hoshiarpur searching for a local job finds mostly metro listings that ask for experience, in an English-only app.
- Local town jobs are hard to find among national listings
- Many listings ask for one or more years of experience
- English-only screens make filling a profile harder
- Recruiters search for keywords that a fresher profile rarely has
What LastKoin does differently
LastKoin asks for your education, skills, the kind of work you want and your city, then shows jobs from approved local employers with a match score. If a job needs something you do not have, it says so before you apply. Switch on auto-apply and LastKoin applies for you only when a job really fits.
Employers on LastKoin cannot search a database of job seekers. They only see the people who applied to their job.
Where Foundit is still the better choice
If you have office experience and want an IT, sales, finance or operations job in a big city, Foundit has far more of those openings, and large companies and consultancies recruit there. LastKoin does not compete for corporate or senior roles.
Can you use both?
Yes. Keep a Foundit profile for corporate openings across India, and use LastKoin for local Punjab jobs, a fresher resume and career direction. Your LastKoin resume PDF can be uploaded to Foundit or any other portal.

How we score
We are LastKoin, so we are not neutral — read the scores with that in mind. To keep them useful, every criterion is judged from one person's point of view: a fresher or early-career job seeker in Punjab looking for a private job. A portal that is excellent for a senior manager in Bengaluru can score lower here, and that is not a judgement of its overall quality.
Scores come from each portal's public website and app as we found them on the review date. Features and prices change; if something here is out of date, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.
