Job title Required
The role, as candidates would search for it. Once you type it, tap “Suggestions for …” under the title to see a matching role from LastKoin's career map, with its skills, typical starting pay and a description draft you can use.
Format: At least 2 characters, with no placeholders like [company name].
Example: Accounts Executive
Common mistakes
- Internal codes or all-caps titles like "EXEC-II".
- Words that name no job, like "Coordinator" alone. Say what the work is: "Office Coordinator".
Town or city Required
Where the work happens. Start typing and pick your town from the list.
Why we ask: A town picked from the list lets LastKoin match candidates who live near it, and scales the suggested pay to the town.
Example: Barnala
Common mistakes
- Typing a town and not picking it from the list.
Work mode
Field, Office, Remote or Hybrid.
Why we ask: Candidates filter by work mode.
Salary
Optional: from, up to, and whether the pay is per month, year, day or hour. Pay is in rupees (INR). On a suggested role, “Use starting pay” fills in the typical starting pay per month for your town.
Why we ask: Jobs with a salary get noticeably more applications, and candidates are matched on pay per month.
Format: Whole numbers, 0 or more. "Up to" cannot be less than "from".
Example: 18000 – 30000, per month
Common mistakes
- Minimum larger than maximum.
- A yearly figure with "Per month" selected.
Last date to apply
Optional. After this day the job stops showing to candidates. Leave it blank to keep the job open until you pause it.
Format: A date from today onwards.
Career category and skills
First choose the job’s career category, then tap up to 5 of its skills; search only looks inside that category. Mark each skill Required or Nice to have. A candidate must have every required skill to apply, by hand or by auto-apply; nice-to-have skills only raise the match. Candidates who chose the same career category see the job ranked higher. Tapping a suggested skill adds it as required when it belongs to the category.
Format: One career category and up to 5 skills. A skill is either required or nice to have, not both.
Example: Finance & Accounting → Tally (Required), GST (Nice to have)
Role
The standard role this job is, grouped by field. Leave it on "Work it out from the title" and LastKoin suggests one from your title.
Why we ask: Candidates are matched and auto-applied by role, so the right role brings the right applicants.
Example: Accountant
Employment type and openings
Full Time, Part Time, Contract, Internship, Freelance, Temporary or Apprenticeship, and how many people you are hiring.
Experience from and up to (years)
The experience range you want. Candidates well under the minimum are never auto-applied.
Format: Years, halves allowed. "Up to" cannot be less than "from".
Example: 1 – 3
Freshers
Freshers welcome, No freshers, or decide from the experience asked.
Common mistakes
- Choosing “Freshers welcome” and also asking for experience. Set “Experience from” to 0, or choose “No freshers”.
Minimum education
10th or 12th pass, Diploma / ITI, Graduate or Post-graduate. To ask for exactly 10th or 12th, pick it under Required qualifications.
Required and nice-to-have qualifications
Required: candidates without it cannot apply. With two or more, choose whether the candidate needs Any one of these or All of these. A qualification picked as required is not offered as nice-to-have. Nice-to-have only raises the match score.
Languages
For Punjabi, Hindi and English: Not needed, Nice to have or Required.
Outside apply link
Optional. Leave it blank so candidates apply on LastKoin and their applications reach your Applications page. Add a link only if candidates should apply on your own site instead.
Format: A web address such as sandhutextiles.com/jobs — https:// is added for you.
Description Required
The work, timings and working days, benefits, and who should apply.
Format: At least 80 characters and 12 words.
Common mistakes
- Pasting only a list of requirements with no description of the work.
- Leaving placeholder text such as “<add your details here>” from the suggested draft. A job with a placeholder cannot be saved or published.
