Reviewing applicants and candidates

You see the people who applied to your jobs, each with a match score and a resume built from their LastKoin profile. Use the filters to narrow the list and the status buttons to track each application.

Open jobs

Match score and auto-applied applicants

Match score

How well the candidate fits this job, out of 100, from role, skills, experience, education, location, salary and more. Open Match breakdown for each part.

Why we ask: Sort by Best match first to review the strongest applicants before the rest.

Auto-applied

The candidate turned on automatic applications and their profile passed every requirement you set before the application was sent. Their details are the same as any other applicant.

Eligible / Missing

Whether the applicant has everything the job requires — required skills, qualifications, languages, experience and education — checked against their profile today. "Missing: Tally" names what they lack. This is separate from the match score: a high score can still miss a required skill.

Filters

Filter by job, status, how candidates applied, a minimum match score, and whether they meet all requirements or are missing a required one. A change applies at once; Clear filters shows everything again.

Reading a candidate

View resume

Opens the resume the candidate applied with. It is built from their profile, so education, experience and skills use a consistent layout. Freshers lead with education and projects.

WhatsApp, Call and Email

On the candidate's page. WhatsApp opens a chat with a first message about their application. A candidate who asked to be reached through LastKoin only shows no contact details: shortlist them with the next step instead.

Application statuses

Status

New applications are Submitted. Move each one with Review, Shortlist, Hire or Reject. Shortlist and Hire ask for the next step — an interview time, who to call, or a joining date — which the candidate sees and is notified of. Reject asks you to confirm and lets you note a reason for your team; the candidate is only told they were not selected, and Undo brings them back. A candidate can also withdraw. Viewers can see statuses but not change them.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download a candidate's resume?

Open it with "View resume" — the shared resume page can be printed or saved as PDF from your browser.

Why do some candidates have no experience listed?

They are freshers. Their education, projects and skills lead the resume instead.

Can I search for candidates who have not applied?

No. Job seekers share their profile only with the employers they apply to. To reach more people, share your live job on WhatsApp; candidates who match it and turned on auto-apply are sent to you automatically.
